Though the mountains leave their place and the hills be shaken, My love shall never leave you nor my covenant of peace be shaken, says the LORD, who has mercy on you. ~ Is 54:10

  • What a great visual for a powerful promise.
  • What does it take for a mountain to leave its place?
  • What type of event has to happen for a hill to be shaken?

We see mountains and hills and think those will be there forever.

Yet, the Lord promises his love and peace are more stable and stronger than them.

What a comforting promise that I easily forget.

I regularly fallback in the habit of trying to gain acceptance and find a place to belong as a way to feel at peace and loved.

But all that is required of me is to rest in the promise the Lord has made.

Today, I meditate on this verse.

In peace,

~Juan
